PB‑AIM puts a living Game Master in your browser. Not a chatbot that answers questions — a GM that remembers your choices, tracks your world, and builds consequence into every session. The story emerges from play. You don’t follow a script. There isn’t one.

Mission & Goals

1. Fully narrated experiences

As a respiratory therapist, I work with people who’ve been dealt a rough hand. And honestly? Sometimes I don’t want to read walls of text either. I just want to lean back and listen to a good story. Someday I hope to add licensed narrators — that’s a future dream.

2. Complete voice‑only interaction

Building on the first point: I want PB‑AIM to be something someone can launch unassisted. Or something an assistant can set up and then step back. Anything that gives even a shred of independence to people who’ve lost so much.

3. No distinctions

My wife is disabled, and the thing she hates most is being pandered to or treated differently. Even when people mean well, no one likes being made to feel “other.” I will not target or call out any group for marketing purposes. The accessibility tags are there only because they help people find the project.

4. It has to be fun

Fun for everyone. Who couldn’t use a good story or a distraction in today’s world?

Core Principles

Nothing Phones Home — Your API keys never leave. All user‑made content is always user‑owned. Never paywall‑locked. Never subscription‑gated.

Couch Co‑op Ready — Pass the keyboard or gather around a screen. PB‑AIM runs a full table right now. No prep, no modules, no session zero. Just sit down and play.

GM Assistant — The AI GM works as a rules assistant and answers questions as they happen.

Play free in your browser — No account, no time limit. The GM loop and character creator are fully playable. (No saves in browser yet — refresh or close and it resets.)

Download for persistent saves — Adventure logs, session artifacts, all that good stuff. Yes, shameless plug: “Dooo it!” Palps approves.

What’s In It Now

LOST EARTH — Post‑apocalyptic survival RPG. Scavenge, negotiate, fight, or talk your way through a shattered world. The GM tracks your inventory, wounds, and reputation. The world moves whether you’re ready or not. (My homebrew RPG.)

STARFINDER (SRD) — Full sci‑fi TTRPG with character creation, leveling, and combat. The GM knows the rules so you don’t have to.

FIFTH EDITION SRD — The fantasy TTRPG that brought a generation to the table. Full character creation, leveling, spells, and combat.

PATHFINDER (ORC License) — The gold‑standard fantasy TTRPG. Same deal.

In-game character creation — Live now. The GM walks you through it at session start.

Full web build — Zero install. I hope to expand the backend soon with accounts and a marketplace.

Mobile PWA — Install to home screen. (This installs a web link — no persistence yet.)

Character Generator Module — Build and store characters on your device. Bring them to any PB‑AIM table.  I hope to have a GUI driven character generator that stores all your characters in one place.

Roadmap

Solo dev. Living roadmap. Direction is the commitment — not dates. Like everyone else, I’ve got budget constraints. Hoping to bootstrap this. Plan: itch.io → Steam → Google Play → Apple.

The Dream

Longer term — and I mean longer — the vision is a full TTRPG table companion. Start a Battletech session in aerospace combat, drop to ground engagement, switch into MechWarrior for pilot‑level action, then reverse the whole sequence for extraction. Continuous. Tracked. Any game system, any scale. Your character persistent through all of it.

Somewhere out there, someone has never experienced the thrill of a critical roll being narrated to them for the first time. Let’s give that experience to as many people as we can.

PB‑AIM today is the foundation. The pieces are there — connecting them is the work ahead.

Hi,

I've been looking at PB-AIM and the thing that stands out is how you've built consequence into the actual memory of the world — your GM doesn't just track stats, it carries forward choices that matter. That's the opposite of most AI tools that reset or forget.

I'm building SagaForge to let designers put their own ruleset in front of players immediately. No waiting for a platform to "support" your mechanics — you paste your rules, name your character, and the game runs. We're working with 10 designers right now to run full public replays of their games.

Your LOST EARTH system seems built for exactly this. Real negotiation and consequence, no prep overhead, designed to be played not read. I'd love to integrate PB-AIM into SagaForge so people can actually see your game in motion — with your name in credits, full public replay for anyone to read.
